Dr Luke Madden started his career in healthcare as a rehabilitation specialist. After reaching a peak in his career of helping people train towards a healthier lifestyle, he returned to study Osteopathy at Western Sydney University. This entailed both a 3 year Bachelor in Health Science and a Clinical Master of Osteopathy in which he researched the chronic effects of neck and upper limb pain in the sonography profession.
Luke is the founder of Miranda Health Centre. After 8 years of running Miranda Health Centre, he was joined by both Dr Bill Tsanidis and Dr Travis Cuscuna and together they created Health House Clinics. Luke’s focus is primarily on structural and functional treatment of the human body with extensive experience and post graduate qualifications in spinal pain and dysfunction, childhood pain and rehabilitation.

Dr Bill Tsanidis – Principal Chiropractor | Director
Dr Bill Tsanidis's life revolves around health and fitness. From a young age he was involved in a very competitive level of soccer, which he still continues today as a semi-professional athlete. His interest in the way the human body moves, functions and reaching peak performance naturally gravitated him towards a role in primary health care, and graduating from Macquarie University with a Bachelors and Masters degree as a Chiropractor.
As a chiropractor, diagnosing and correcting your injuries, dysfunction, aches and pains is just one facet of his treatment plan. Dr Eric Poon – Chiropractor
Dr Eric Poon - Has been working as a chiropractor for 7 years now.

Dr Sarah Lal – Osteopath
Dr Sarah Lal graduated with a Masters degree from the prestigious British School of Osteopathy in London, England and came to Australia in 2015. Sarah appreciates that every person is completely unique in their body, mind, and spirit and hence tailors her treatment to suit the individual. Known for her empathetic and kind-hearted nature, she believes in getting to know her patients well, and thereby identifying causes of tension and weaknesses with the aim to gently rebalance the body & restore function.
Hands-on techniques include anything from HVLA (spinal and peripheral manipulations) to functional technique, trigger point dry needling, and a wide range of soft-tissue, fascial and visceral technique to ensure pain reduction and to improve the body’s function. She also has a special interest in caring for women through pregnancy and to help post-natal recovery. This passion lead her to attending several talks and courses in London to further her education on osteopathy and pregnancy.

Dr Katelyn Begley – Chiropractor
Dr Katelyn Begley - graduated from RMIT University in Melbourne with a Bachelor of Health Science and a Masters of Clinical Chiropractic. Having been introduced to Chiropractic as a teenager playing a lot of sport, a netball coach convinced Katelyn to go to a chiropractic clinic during school placement. From that moment, Katelyn was hooked and fell in love with the hands on, practical, health focused approach of Chiropractic. Chiropractic helped Katelyn personally through multiple injuries, also witnessing the positive effects it has on many people of all ages. With a real passion for helping others, this led Katelyn to study Chiropractic. With her love of sport, Katelyn’s always had a special interest in the human body and optimizing health, wellbeing and function, especially for improving performance, specialising in sports chiropractic, rehabilitation and female health.
Outside of work, Katelyn is a semi-professional netball player. Playing in the midcourt she has to keep fit. When not training, Katelyn loves running or taking the dog for a walk. A Victorian by birth (please don’t hold that against her), Katelyn’s into her AFL but she’s quickly getting the hang of Rugby. Katelyn enjoys travelling the world experiencing new cultures and destinations and is a self-confessed chocoholic.

Jim Anthopoulos – Remedial Massage Therapist
Jim uses a range of techniques such as Deep tissue, myofacial release and trigger point to name a few to comprehensively care for his clients needs.
With a background in Soccer and cricket and working as an experienced personal trainer, Jim believes that combining targeted remedial massage, functional strength exercises and positive nutrition produces the greatest health benefit.
Jim is also a qualified Personal Trainer. His desire to grow as a health professional has pushed Jim to further his study and is currently studying Chiropractic at university.

Dr Melinda Madden – Osteopath
Dr Melinda Madden graduated from Western Sydney University in 2008. After starting Miranda Health Centre with Dr Luke Madden and building he healthcare team and practice, Melinda stepped away from private practice on maternity leave. Melinda joins the Illawong practice with extensive experience in pregnancy and pregnancy related pain and disorders and lower back pain.

Michelle Smith – Practice Manager
Michelle has been involved in a numerous receptionist appointments throughout her career. Her experience ranges from head receptionist in charge of a team within a worldwide hotel chain, purser on Royal Caribbean cruise liners, personal assistant for a social worker team for British forces in Germany, front of house in a range of industry organisations and currently within the healthcare profession. Michelle is our resident receptionist who has been with the organisation for six years. She has been instrumental in streamlining our front of house to an efficient; customer focused and key operational area of the business.
Michelle was born in the UK to Italian parents. She is well travelled throughout Europe and America and has lived in Germany and Brunei prior to coming to Australia with her family ten years ago. Her husband and their ‘adult ‘children’ still keep her busy at home. Michelle is a dedicated fitness junkie and a regular attendee at the gymnasium. She enjoys relaxing by the pool weather permitting, home baking (makes a mean carrot cake), bush walking and hopes to increase overseas travel opportunities with her husband now their children have ‘grown up’.
