CAN I USE MY HEALTH FUND?
A. Yes. All of our massage therapists are qualified and have their individual provider numbers recognised by health funds. We have a HICAPS terminal onsite which allows you to easily access your rebate from most health funds.
HOW LONG DOES THE SESSION GO FOR?
A. Choose from three massage therapy consult times: 30, 60 or 90 minutes. For your first appointment, we recommend selecting the 60-minute Initial Consultation appointment to allow your therapist time for questions and assessment before starting your Remedial Massage.
Q: HOW MUCH IS A CONSULTATION?
A. Initial 60-minute consultations are $110. We have the HICAPS terminal on site so we can get your health fund rebate prior to paying, so you only pay whatever the gap is left over.
WHAT TYPE OF TREATMENT CAN I EXPECT?
A: All our therapists are highly experienced in using hands-on techniques to release fascia and muscles. Our therapists can also use other techniques such as dry needling or blading if requested.
Q: WILL IT BE PAINFUL?
A: When releasing tension in muscles or fascia, it can be uncomfortable. Everyone has different pain thresholds and our therapists aim to effectively release tension/trigger points without it being painful. If you are more sensitive to deep tissue massage, please let your therapist know so they can adjust the pressure they suit you.
Q: DO WE TREAT PREGNANT WOMEN?
A: Absolutely. Many of our patients continue massage therapy with us until the final days of their pregnancy. Your body changes so much in such a short time, so it’s quite normal to feel back pain, neck stiffness, wrist swelling, foot pain, hip pain and other common areas of pain. A Remedial Massage is the ideal treatment to soothe your changing body as it works hard to grow your baby.
Q: DO YOU TREAT ATHLETES?
A: Yes! We treat everybody. Being in the heart of such an active community we treat professional and semi-professional athletes during their season, off-season and the dreaded pre-season.
